Thank you to all members who have been into the Club during our three weekends of opening to date, and to those who have renewed their membership.
The new COVID-19 procedures are operating reasonably well, and we have made some minor amendments in relation to suggestions and concerns raised. We would like to remind members that we now have separate entrance / exit doors; that glasses should be returned to the kitchen counter (and should not be taken to the bar for refilling); and of the need to keep
dogs on a lead at all times.
The hours that we have been opening are:
Fridays: 5pm – 8pm
Saturdays: midday – 8pm
Sundays: midday – 8pm
As previously indicated, we do not anticipate being able to expand these hours significantly in the near future, but will be opening additionally this Friday lunchtime (24 July), between midday – 3pm. We will subsequently take a view as to whether we can offer this service on a regular basis.
Because of the financial constraints that we are currently under, the bar will continue to be staffed by volunteers when open outside weekends. We are also required under current legislation to have a Club representative on hand to record all those entering (for Track and Trace purposes), and to allocate tables / advise members of requirements. To date, committee members have taken on these duties, but it is falling to the same people each time. If members are able / prepared to take a turn “on the door”, we should love to hear from you.
